Why This Shrine?

Ever since i was a little kid, i've love puppets. Much of the content i was feed as a child was fed to me in the form of puppet shows, whether it was sunny neighhborhood of sesame street, the musical caves of fraggle rock, or the hazy memories of johnny and the sprites (look it up). As I grew up, these aspects of my childhood began to mold my interests. I began finding more puppet tvshows and movies, and since i'm from the us, that meant they were mainly created by the jim henson company.

As i slowly connected the dots, my interest broaded to the creators of these fuzzy felty guys I held so dear. Who were they? How did they become interested in puppets? What's their story?
